LIGHTING THE WAY WITH WORDS

We took the kids to see a baseball game played by our
local amateur team. We watched how many
MPH (miles per hour) the pitch was on the screen and tried
to figure out which pitches the hitters would swing at most.
Our son soon realized that unless they swing the bat at the ball,
there's no chance of hitting it at all. Yes, they may miss a
few times, but after some practice and warming up,
they have a better chance of making contact with it.

What do you want to take a swing at doing?
Whatever it is, go for it! Because you never know unless you try!

One more thing about the word "swing".
Did you know it has 38 definitions?
It can be used as a verb, noun, or adjective.

We want to wish all the mom-like listeners out there a very
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Since moms are always coming to the rescue of their families,
we hope you get treated like the super hero you are all day long!

As always, we look forward to watching the glow grow
brighter with the many words we can share together!
