LIGHTING THE WAY WITH WORDS

We have our first loose tooth in our house!
Have you heard our story about loose teeth?
A Tooth's Story: (17:12)

A tooth learns that he will be leaving his home
in the mouth from a voice down below the gums.
He must say goodbye to his friends and inform
the rest of the teeth about their own impending journey.

Our kids love to narrate stories to each other and to us. While they narrate, they come up with clever details and exciting twists and turns. They work well off one another to create the silliest story possible. When do you narrate stories? Do you write your stories down or type them out? Share with us in the comments or on our Facebook page

As always, we look forward to watching the glow grow brighter
with the many words we can share together.

The kids and Mr. Chris have been busy creating a leprechaun trap. They are certain that this is the year they are going to catch one of those little buggers. Last year the leprechauns left an enormous mess, a broken trap, and some tasty morsels as a "good try" reward.

Did you devise your own leprechaun trap? We would love to see it.
Feel free to post a picture of it on our Facebook page or send it to nightlightstories@gmail.com

SPOTLIGHTS

LIV
Age 5

During a recent trip to the library, Liv made a weather wheel.
She loves the weather and coloring, so she was excited to combine
both into this project. After carefully coloring the different
types of weather, she attached the arrow. Each day, she points
the arrow towards the type of weather we are experiencing.
Sometimes, she changes it a few times a day!
Liv can't wait to make her next project at the library.

I can't wait to see what she creates next, either! Terrific job, Liv!
