When I woke up to the quiet house this morning, this is what I saw on our deck. I knew the kids were going to go nuts once they saw it! Pretty impressive inches, especially for natives from Buffalo and Boston.
Hours later, we geared up and went outside.
The kids were unsure of how to attempt getting through the snow, so they tried walking into it.
When that didn't work, they attempted some swim strokes, with no progress.
Our daughter stopped to have a snow snack.
Our son took charge, and called in the big guns to get him out of this jam.
Daddy to the rescue!

Oh, wow! What a winter wonderland! I am so jealous! We haven't had a single flake here in the NW ... but it is sunny and almost 60 degrees here today, so I guess I can't really complain :) Great pics! I'll show them to NHV when she gets up from her nap!
