LIGHTING THE WAY WITH WORDS

Have you heard "The Watermelon Seed"?
A little boy and his grandmother exchange letters
describing the different changes he is seeing in
his mom after she swallows a watermelon seed.

Our kids are out of school for the summer! We have been looking forward to the start of summer vacation with such fervor that we can't control our excitement! We will be traveling to see our family, friends and of course, the beach. While we are at home though, I have prepared some daily activities and experiments for our 3 and 5 year old. We started by creating "summer journals" using notebooks. In these we plan to keep track of the adventures we have during each day.  Some daily things I want them to keep track of are the weather, temperature, any rain fall, and any animals we encounter. I plan to post an activity, experiment, or adventure daily on the Night Light Stories Facebook page. We would love for you to share your own adventures with us by posting your pictures, ideas, activities or experiments on our Facebook page. I will be posting daily, so feel free to post as much as you like! The more ideas we can share, the better!

Meanwhile, send us your visual
definition of fervor to nightlightstories@gmail.com
or post it on our Facebook Page
As always, we look forward to watching the
glow grow brighter with the many words we can share together.
